We had the most incredible day with the lovely Katie Rose! Everyone has such a beautiful soul - thank you all for sharing it with us.
We hardly ever take the time to JUST rest any more. But it's so important. When the body is rested, it can draw from its immense capacity to heal itself.

We had an amazing time at our breathe & de-stress weekend retreat at Claridge House. Lots of peace and quiet, but also plenty of laughter, amazing views of the garden, yummy yoga and meditation and delicious food.
I saw this done at a lovely yoga studio in Chiang Mai (Wild Rose Yoga) and thought it was a great idea. At the end of the class everyone gave their mat a little spray infused with a beautiful essential oil and a wipe-down, so that the next person could enjoy using the mat as well. And I thought what better way is there to introduce a little karma yoga into my classes?! So I got some gorgeous eucalyptus oil and here we go :)
What an incredible year it has been! 2013 has definitely been eventful and looking back I am really proud of what I have achieved. I did my advanced training in Thai Yoga Massage, which I have fallen even more in love with, and I now also train new practitioners. Together with Eden Mendel I successfully launched breathe & de-stress(and watch out, there is a lot more to come from this corner...). All together I ran 25 workshops this year and my first (sold out) yoga retreat. I taught yoga to a man in a shark suit and held a class on the big stage at the yoga show. And most recently also qualified as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapist. Oh yes, and I quit my day job in the summer as well! Quite a roller coaster of a year... It's been emotional, hard work, exciting, scary, overwhelming, rewarding, and brilliant. But one thing I know for sure: I could not have done it without you lot! Thank you for coming to my classes and workshops and what ever else I come up with, thank you for trusting me as a bodyworker, thank you for your continued support and sharing my passion, thank you for teaching me so much!
So now I guess it's time to look forward to 2014! As I hinted above, one of my main projects will be breathe & de-stress, but what I am really excited about is that I will be running three (possibly even four) retreats next year, which is something I have always wanted to do. Fairlie and I will be going back to Turkey TWICE, and Eden and I are offering a lovely weekend retreat in Surrey in April. And stay tuned for a possible 'Yoga City Break' to Lisbon!
